ONT stands for “Optical Network Terminal,” and it’s the box responsible for taking the fiber optic signals and translating them so the devices in the home can optimize them. Verizon offers flexible installs with weekday and weekend installs. We can work to your schedule and complete an installation within a two-hour arrival window. The final installation type is self-install, but not everyone is eligible for self-installation. It will be possible if the Verizon service was previously at the address, and an existing ONT box can still be used. It is simply a plug and play.
